Jenny Smatt is an accomplished and internationally respected swimmer who competed in the 1992 Olympic Games and has achieved many successes in her swim career. She brings the same principled dedication that garnered her success as an athlete and uses them to accomplish goals in both her professional and personal life.

Imagine that you were able to monitor your progress in a way that allows you to see that you are taking more steps forward than backward and minimize the impact of those missteps.
But wait, there’s nothing wrong with you, and the pathway to success doesn’t have to be such a slug.
Let me show you how to turn this around so that you can thrive, live your best life and achieve levels of success that you never imagined were possible. There are six steps that you need to take to achieve success in any aspect of your life, however you define it. How do I know?
I was in your shoes not too long ago and felt like I was wired differently. I minimized and downplayed my dreams and aspirations to live according to what I perceived as “normal” and “stable”. I realized I wasn’t alone as I also work with numerous individual clients and businesses who couldn’t see through the fog! Now I spend my time the way I would like, my soul is happy and I’m achieving financial success in ways not even I imagined. I have the confidence not only to dream, but to act quickly to make my dream a reality by using my eight step methodology.

THE BREAKDOWN - OPTIMIZING SUCCESS
Preparation Work
A fundamental premise of this program is that success is defined and measured individually, not externally or by others. This portion of the program will request that several preliminary worksheets are completed to capture your motivation for participation in the program, areas that require additional focus as well as historical patterns of behaviour. This preliminary work will be a key input for the goal setting session that follows.
Goal Setting Session
This interactive and in-depth goal setting session will facilitate the discussion and agreement on professional, personal and other goals that will form the milestones and ultimate benchmarks for success throughout the program.
Module 1 – Barriers to Success
Following the goal-setting session, an important part of the process and methodology is the exploration of historical and current barriers to success. These may include physical, mental, social, emotional or other barriers that impede the journey to optimizing success.
Module 2 – Surrounded
by Excellence
A key factor to achieving new levels of success is surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals who model the patterns, beliefs and lifestyle that you wish to have. During this working session, we will identify your “optimum team” and develop practical skills to manage your “naysayers”, even if they include close friends and family.
Module 3 – Patterns
Part of human nature is developing patterns and habits. So often these serve us well, however, sometimes they are just routine, historical or even prohibitive. During this module we will explore patterns that will serve us best moving forward, in pursuit of the life we wish to lead. More specifically, we will identify the desired daily routines and proven approaches to change behaviours.
Module 4 – The Discipline
Excellence is derived from discipline. Our approach includes the discipline of review and reflection as well as integrating several key components into daily, monthly and yearly life that inspire, invigorate and facilitate ongoing learning and growth to live a happy and successful life.
Module 5 – Sustainability
and Success
Now that you have clarity on where you are going, what you wish to achieve and many of the tools to get there, we want you to live your best life. During this module, we will learn about and discuss key elements to sustain your new success levels and enjoy your achievements.

skills are often overlooked or omitted from an athlete’s training plan. At Five Rings, we believe that mental skills give athletes at all levels the strategies
and confidence to optimize their performance and be the best versions of themselves in sport, school and beyond.
